Improving your cardio fitness really matters in lowering your death risk from heart and other problems, a key study shows. Following even the basic rules for moderate or hard physical activity can bring your death risk down by 21%. People who work out more than these guidelines see a huge jump – up to a 31% lower risk of dying.

The study looked at data from 100,000+ adults over 30 years. It proved that working out pretty hard with medium to vigorous activities is best for your overall health. This highlights how critical physical activity is for a healthy heart. It also shows the big difference the right amount and kind of exercise can make.

This shows it’s good to do both easy and hard exercises. Doing more than the recommended amount helps even more. It can make you much less likely to have heart problems or die from other causes.

Being active pays off in the long run. Doing regular exercises, both easy and hard, lowers the risk of dying from heart issues or other causes. It gives you a better shot at a long, healthy life.

The Optimal Amount of Physical Activity for Maximum Benefits

A study looked into how much physical activity gives the best results. It found that too much exercise doesn’t lower the risk of death more. But, it’s also safe for your heart. This is good news for those worried about overdoing it.

Consistently doing 75-150 minutes of intense exercise a week, or 150-300 minutes of moderate exercise, is best. This reduces the chance of dying. Doing more than this doesn’t further lower the death risk.

So, stick to the recommended amount of exercise to stay healthy. This improves your heart health and lowers the risk of dying. Remember, talk to a doctor before making big changes to your workout. Finding the right mix of activity and rest is key to staying healthy.
